Yahoo recommends Gmail on its Portal!

Hey folks look at it while surfing yahoo/com today I have noticed this amazing recommendation by Yahoo Portal.

Why is Yahoo recommending Gmail on its portal and not recommending Yahoo Mail?

Any clues guys.. what is Yahoo is up to…?
